Our G.R.I.T. – Give, Recognize, Implement, Time running coaching programs unleash your potential to have your best race yet and set your new PR!  Our coaching approach helps runners overcome the common challenges of injury, burn-out, fading during races, finding the right nutrition and hydration, and the little voice in the back of our heads that says “I can’t” or to “Stop” (you know which one we mean).

We use a unique blend of professional coaching and personal training, rooted in our signature cognitive behavioral coaching approach of G.R.I.T. – Give, Recognize, Implement, Time to create sustainable growth that will make you faster and stronger physically and mentally!  A journey we like to call flipping your G.R.I.T. switch.

Each program is individually crafted for you to meet your specific needs and fit into your life.  We don’t believe in stock programs or a one size fits all approach.  We believe in embracing what makes you unique and crafting a plan that is truly right for you so you can succeed and meet your goals.

Each of our running programs is created by our CEO & founder, Steven Nathenson, who is an accomplished runner, competes in triathlon at the national level, is an Ironman All World Athlete, and has more fitness certifications than he knows what to do with.

5k & 10k Coaching

Whether you are running your first race or looking to set a new personal record, our 5k and 10k coaching programs can help you!  Best of all, it’s FREE!  Yup!  We said free!  We love running and love helping others run too!  Let us help you have your best race for absolutely nothing! 

Each of our programs include:

  • A 20-45 minute introductory consultation to learn about you so we can create the right program for you;
  • A personalized training program delivered to you in Microsoft Excel format for easy adjustments as needed;
  • Tips and best practices for proper race nutrition and hydration;
  • Guidance for preventing injuries;
  • Two 30-minute G.R.I.T. – Give, Recognize, Implement, Time coaching sessions via zoom (our video-conferencing software) or telephone; and
  • Unlimited touch points via email.

Half Marathon Coaching

Are you ready to take on your first half marathon?  Or, do you want to break the 2-hour mark or run under 1:40?

We can help you!!!

Our half marathon coaching program is designed specifically around your goal time on race day and to meet the demands of your schedule.  No more stock programs that cram too much in or aren’t quite right.  We know what it feels like to have a goal and fall short or not be able to meet it because of injury from over training due to stock programs.  Because of this, we take extreme care to craft personalized running programs that will avoid common injuries and have you peak on race day to hit your goal time.

Each of our programs include:

  • A 20-45 minute introductory consultation to learn about you so we can create the right program for you;
  • A personalized training program delivered to you in Microsoft Excel format for easy adjustments as needed;
  • Strength training workouts designed specifically for you;
  • Stretching routines designed specifically for you;
  • Actively finding the right race nutrition and hydration for you;
  • Pro-active injury preventative measures;
  • Actively addressing that little voice in all of our heads that tells us to stop (and any other voices too);
  • A plan to adjust to the specific conditions you will face on race day;
  • Two 30-minute G.R.I.T. – Give, Recognize, Implement, Time coaching sessions via zoom (our video-conferencing software) or telephone per month; and
  • Unlimited touch points via email.

Our half marathon training programs typically run anywhere from 12 to 20 weeks depending on your experience level and current conditioning.  Please contact us to learn more and for pricing information.

Marathon Coaching

Are you ready to take on your first full marathon and earn your 26.2 bragging rights?  Do you want to break the 4-hour mark?  Or, do you want to qualify for the Boston Marathon?
