Coaching

Our coaching provides one on one, individualized, and focused guidance and expertise which DOES help your employees, teams, and organization fulfill their goals and needs.

All of our professional coaching is rooted in our signature cognitive behavioral approach of G.R.I.T. – Give, Recognize, Implement, Time (Click here to learn more about it).  We take this approach because the number one area our coaching tends to fall into, regardless of the topic of conversation, is building confidence and overcoming limiting beliefs and negativity.  As noted above, this approach, our signature approach, gets to the heart of the underlying characteristics which need to be addressed to help people be successful.  We also take this approach because we know how important the development of your employees, time, and money are to you, as well as, the success of and satisfaction with your investments.

Our G.R.I.T. – Give, Recognize, Implement, Time coaching program supplements our G.R.I.T. – Give, Recognize, Implement, Time workshops and can also be purchased as a standalone program for your employees, teams, and organization.

Professional coaching is a guided partnership between us to help you clearly define your goals, the right way to reach them, and to reach them!  Click here to learn more.

Terminology

There are two key terms to know regarding our coaching:

  1. Coachee – An individual who receives coaching; and
  2. Sponsor – An individual on behalf of their organization who coordinates and contracts with us to provide coaching for individuals within their organization.

The Logistics

Our coaching follows a very specific process, as shown below, to clearly define how our time together will work, maximize the effectiveness of our coaching, and ensure we measure our success along the way, as well as, at the conclusion of our engagement together. To learn more about our process click here or on the image below.

During our process, we will assess your needs and goals using our coaching engagement intake form, which you will receive a copy of for your records.  We will do this for your organization as a whole to define the needs and goals of the overall engagement and with each coachee and team we coach to define the needs and goals of their individual engagements.  These will become the metrics we use to measure the impact and ROI of our coaching over the course of and at the end of the engagement.  At the conclusion of the engagement, we will also assess the engagement as a whole and the coach(es) who provided coaching to the coachees using our coaching engagement evaluation form.

Our coaching engagements typically last between 12 to 24 months (depending on your needs) because we, as human beings, don’t change over night.  It takes time to develop new skills, but also, to overcome any pre-existing habits which are rooted within us and must be overcome to create the change and development we seek.  Just another reason why we firmly root our coaching in our signature cognitive behavioral approach to truly create the success you seek, as well as, help our coachees embrace the time it takes to change as human beings.

Each coachee will receive bi-weekly or weekly coaching sessions lasting 45-60 minutes in length for the duration of their engagement.  In addition, each coachee will receive coaching with their entire team for 60 minutes once a month if our engagement is for a team.  All of our coaching is delivered 100% virtually or telephonically.  We use Zoom to deliver our coaching virtually and provide all materials required and requsted during the coaching engagement for coachees electronically.

Important Considerations

There are several important considerations we put into place during our coaching engagements:

  1. Confidentiality – We take the confidentiality of our coaching very seriously.  With the exception of contextual information needed to define the terms of and measure the impact and ROI of an engagement, all information shared by a coachee with a coach remains between them.  The only two exceptions to this is if a coachee gives us a reasonable belief they are a significant harm to themselves or another.
  2. Conflict of Interest – We recognize that coaching a leader and their direct report or coaching individuals who are at odds with each presents a conflict of interest for the coach.  Because of this, we take measures to avoid conflicts of interest by providing different coaches to coachees who could create such a conflict.
  3. Virtual coaching versus In-person coaching – We deliver all of our coaching virtually or telephonically; however, we are open to the discussion of in-person coaching on a case by case basis.  What we consider for in-person sessions are the location of the coachee, if it is a single coachee or an entire team, the length of the coaching session, the frequency of the requested in-person sessions, and our availability.

Organizational Strategy Design & Execution

Our organizational strategy design & execution offering does just what it sounds like; it helps organizations develop new strategies and implement them.

Our organizational strategy design & execution offering is rooted in our signature cognitive behavioral approach of G.R.I.T. – Give, Recognize, Implement, Time (Click here to learn more about it) and professional coaching practices.  As noted above, this approach, our signature approach, gets to the heart of the underlying characteristics which need to be addressed to help people be successful; a significant factor needed for designing and executing a new organizational strategy.  In addition, we use a strategic planning consulting approach which takes your employees into account to ensure proper awareness around, buy-in for, preparation for, and roll-out of your new strategy to successfully meet its goals.

We take this approach because we don’t believe in simply providing a solution then walking away.  We, like you, are truly invested in actually creating sustainable change and growth for your organization by implementing your new strategy.  Whether it is hitting a new sales mark, creating a new line of business, or growing and expanding as a business, we are here for the long haul with you!

Coaching Logistics

Our coaching follows a very specific process, as shown below, to clearly define how our time together will work, maximize the effectiveness of our coaching, and ensure we measure our success along the way, as well as, at the conclusion of our engagement together. To learn more about our process click here or on the image below.  We will use this process to also outline the consulting components of this offering.

During our process, we will assess your needs and goals using our coaching engagement intake form, which you will receive a copy of for your records.  We will do this for your organization as a whole to define the needs and goals of the overall engagement and with each coachee and team we coach to define the needs and goals of their individual engagements.  These will become the metrics we use to measure the impact and ROI of our coaching over the course of and at the end of the engagement, as well as, the design and execution of the organizational strategy we develop.

Important Coaching Considerations

Consulting Logistics

The amount of consulting we provide is dependent upon the strategy you wish to develop and will either be billed on an hourly basis or as a monthly retainer, in addition to the coaching we provide.  During the initial stages of forming our engagement, together we will assess your specific needs and goals (as noted below in the coaching logistics section) to determine the level of consulting needed to address and meet them, respectively.  We will also discuss any access, points of contact, and logistics needed for us to provide our consulting to you.

The Consulting Your Organization Will Receive

The consulting component to our organizational strategy design and execution offering is a complimentary component to the coaching your executives and executive team will receive during it.  We offer this component to provide additional perspective, as well as, expert guidance and education, to ensure your organizations is given all the tools it needs to fulfill its needs and reach its goals.  Our consulting will run concurrently with our coaching and be used in our coaching with the executive team to design and execute the right strategy for your organization.

Designing and executing a new strategy to reach organizational goals, such as increasing revenue, creating a new product, and dealing with the expansion and growth of your business can be a daunting task.  Here, at Strive For More, we don’t just talk about creating a vision, we talk about creating a strategic vision.  What that means is, we take the time up front to explore and define what will make us successful through a detailed strategy which allows us to actually bring our vision to life and meet our needs and goals.  We call this our strategic planning approach.

We take this approach because we know how important it is for you to reach the goals you have as a business, and just like with our business goals, know the importance of planning today for success tomorrow.

“By failing to prepare you are preparing to fail.”

– Benjamin Franklin

Our strategic planning approach assesses your organization in the seven key areas shown above.  This assessment allows us to dive deeply into key components of your organization which can make or break the design and execution of a new strategy.  After this assessment, we’ll know what strategic changes and shifts need to be made during the execution of your new strategy to ensure your organization meets its needs and goals.

After the design of your new organizational strategy is complete, we take a four-step approach to executing it, as seen to the left.  We take this execution approach, and assess your organization as noted above, because your employees are the lifeblood of your organizationWithout them, there would be no cogs in the wheel and the bottom line would become a bottomless pit.  Our approach puts the engagement of your employees first and foremost as they will be responsible for living the new strategy and determine the success of it.

Because our signature approach gets to the heart of what creates growth, behavior change, and the development of new skills, our organization strategy design & execution offering WILL meet your goals and needs.  But don’t just take our word for it.  Read what our clients have to say here.
